It is unusual for a television producer for thirty-five years to be so camera shy. I am, and always was. Looking into a lens was like looking into the barrel of a gun. I couldn’t face my face on screen or in a still. This handicap meant missing opportunities for self-promotion, the all-important visibility, and for remembrances of exciting things past. Occasionally, some media wizard on the team ordered up a photographer on location or in studio, and there we have it. A collection full of more gaps than I might wish.
